J. Kim Martial Arts is a 2,000 square feet modern training facility. It boasts a matted training room, a waiting room with television, men and women's changing rooms, restroom, and a snack bar with drinks available for purchase.

Before opening it's doors on November 7th, 2001, the Owner/Instructors were living and training in Korea receiving advanced training in the Martial Art of Tang (Dang) Soo Do.

Since opening J. Kim Martial Arts has quickly become one of the #1 schools in Tucson. With a family oriented, traditional values approach to teaching, the school has grown to have the best reputation for quality Martial Arts in Tucson.

J. Kim Martial Arts offers the following programs: Tiger Tots (3 to 6 years old), Children Beginner (7 to 12 years old), Children Intermediate, Children Advanced, Adult morning and evening classes ( 13 Years & Up).

HOW DO I FIND THE RIGHT PLACE TO STUDY MARTIAL ARTS?

HERE ARE A FEW TIPS FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY:

* Get a referral -ask around, see if you know anyone who can suggest a quality school

* Take an intro lesson or two - See if the teaching style is to your liking

* Quality Matter More than Price - Remember you usually get what you pay for. High quality is always a better deal.  Can you afford low quality or unsafe training?

* Check out the Instructors - Where did they get their training and teaching experience? How long have they been in business? How long have they been teaching?

*  Don't be fooled by certification- Martial Arts is an unregulated industry.  ANYBODY can be certified through a weekend seminar or through the mail. 

*  Shop Around - Go to at least 3 schools and take an intro. This will help you make an informed decision.
